The Trudeau Society

The Trudeau Society of Greater Los Angeles serves as the medical and scientific section of the American Lung Association of Los Angeles County. Read more about this disease and the occurrence, course of the disease, etc., at where you can order an essay or consult on how to properly attract. Its goals are to promote better understanding of pulmonary diseases in an effort to provide the best possible care to our community. ?Trudeau Society activities include Dinner and Lecture Meetings. Members of the Trudeau Society include practicing and teaching physicians, fellows/residents, registered nurses, respiratory therapists and other allied health professionals throughout greater Los Angeles.

"Outcomes of Post-ICU Mechanical Ventilation: A Therapist Implemented Weaning Protocol"
At the close of this session, attendees should be able to:
  • Understand positives and negatives in protocol usuage.
  • Identify important outcomes and essential screens in weaning portocols.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with a post-ICU (LTAC) weaning protocol. ?
Educational Objectives / Needs Assessment:
  • Topics are identified through written and verbal requests from members, and by the Trudeau Executive Committee.
  • The Executive Committee identified the needs by reviewing past years' agendas, by analyzing current trends and topics, and by surveying members.
This is an activity offered by the California Thoracic Society, a CMA accredited provider. ?Physicians attending this course may report up to one hour of category one credit toward the CMA's certificate in continuing Medical Education and the American Medical Association Physicians Recognition award.

2000 Calendar of Presentations

Presentations on the campus of Barlow Respiratory Hospital include a hosted full bar and hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner and the scientific session. ?Join your colleagues in the pulmonary/critical care community for these evenings of science and socializing.
