KICK BUTTS is a Youth Advocacy Program of the American Lung Association of Los Angeles County. The KICK BUTTS newsletter is a publication of the American Lung Association of Los Angeles County, and is distributed free of charge to Los Angeles County Middle and High School Students within the grant-targeted communities. KICK BUTTS encourages young people not to use tobacco and to counter pro-tobacco influences in their communities. KICK BUTTS is funded by a grant from the California Department of Health Services, Tobacco Health Protection Act, Proposition 99.
