Lawrence M. Lebowsky, Esq.
As we enter a new century, we look forward to another year of growth in which we strengthen our resolve to clean up the air, teach youth to say "no" to tobacco, and bring in even more volunteers to help us achieve our goals.

We have planned many exciting programs and activities. We will start with STARS (Seeking Tobacco Alternatives with Realistic Solutions), a new program that will bring teens face-to-face with television and film professionals to encourage the entertainment industry to stop glamorizing tobacco use in TV and movies. Also this year, our exciting "Fairway to Clean Air" Golf Classic takes place at Rolling Hills Country Club on October 4. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a wonderful day outdoors, and raise money for our programs. Remember to order your collectible Radko Christmas Seals ornament a holiday treasure that will bring out the child in you.

This Association is known for its successes. We turned the tide on tuberculosis and lead the fight against the tobacco industry. Now, more than ever, it is important that we do not rest on our laurels. I know I can count on all of you to rise to the challenge and make a personal commitment this year to increase your support, either financially, through volunteering your time and expertise, or both. I look forward to a great year, and to working with all of you.
