ALALAC's 73rd annual meeting was held Saturday, June 19, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. This year's theme, "It's all about the children," focused on the Association's many programs for kids, including Breath Games, KICK-Asthma L.A., Asthma Camp, and KICK BUTTS. In a repeat performance as master of ceremonies, board member Ray Gonzales kept things moving (with the help of some well-told jokes and funny sound effects), as three young people spoke about their experiences in ALALAC's programs. David Crippens of KCET gave a moving keynote speech about society's responsibility to our children.
