Early Detection of Lung Cancer Research Project
City of Hope National Medical Center seeks smokers and former smokers interested in participating in an investigational type of lung cancer screening designed to detect early-stage lung cancers. If you first want to read what "lung cancer screening" is, both in detail and abstractly, read best custom writing to have an understanding of both what kind of disease it is and what kind of procedure it is. Experience with other types of cancer screenings has proven that early detection saves lives. The screening study uses low-dose computed tomography (CT) scans, and is being conducted as part of the City of Hope Lung Cancer Screening Project in collaboration with the International Early Lung Cancer Action Program. City of Hope is the only hospital in the greater Los Angeles area conducting this screening study.
